Default Decision has been made **PICS**

This is a test panel that the painter has sent me. It's black with a blue pearl. I'm ecstatic with the way it came out. Also, here's the pics on how it sits now . A long way to go .

Oh ****... I didn't even notice that! They cut the whole thing out to replace it I'm assuming but damn... That's a pretty extreme repair. MIGHT show up on carfax... Lol

They replaced the roof & entire unibody passenger side panel on mine too for hail damge. Although, I never got pics of it w/o the roof. See my sig for the details (click SW Hood/Spoiler, top right of that page is the full thread).

A black base with a blue pearl ... now THAT is gorgeous! It is also a very difficult spray, but it seems from your test panel your sprayer has it handled. Good luck and post some hi-res photos of the finished product!

Yea, the guy that is doing it has been working on a few Fisker Karmas for this dealership. So if he can paint $100k luxury cars, I think I can trust him with my V

I saw your whole thread and when you got it back. That is the worst nightmare for any new car purchase . Luckily for the both of us the insurance company decided not to total it.

I'm actually getting this done at Frank Kent Cadillac in Fort Worth. My dad has been a mechanic there for 30+ years. It's where I bought my V, so I trust the guys there a ton. (Except for the select few who were involved in my truck theft, but I won't go there ).

Wish I had thought of some pearl clear coat. It did take some coaxing for them to do the hood/spoiler on mine though.

I was actually in the market for that group buy for the Extreme Composite hood, but it was damaged in shipping (we're only 3 hours away!) and the body shop said it wasnt the best quality so we sent that back. Was looking at the Spectre hood, but haven't heard from them so i said forget it. So we just replaced the stock one with another. I was contemplating having the mirrors and spoiler wrapped in carbon fiber, but haven't decided. I just love the look of CF haha

Specter took a long time on my hood. I contacted them via the CF forums & got that membership discount (10%?).
