I'm bumping this thread since I searched and didnt want to make another thread.
Anyways, I got a set of basically new shocks with the car which appear to be FE4s that were taken off @ about 4k miles
So that means FG2s are currently on the car according to the instructions I found in the same box (according to the PN)
I just bought the H&R springs with the MM spacers. Would you guys go with the FG2s that are on the car and have about 80k miles on them, or put the stock FE4s on that only have a few thousand miles on them? I'd like to find some newerish FG2s but those are pretty rare these days. Or just buy some other shocks that might be even better? Thoughts?

I'd leave the FG2's on the car until they start giving you problems, then replace with FE4's. 80k shouldn't be too bad on those shocks. Sometime after 100k I would consider swapping.
With the price of the rear FE4 replacements, I'm thinking of going FE1 on the rears! (gasp)
I don't race it, and for $250 a shock... please
