Murdered 2011 V Sedan Finished
I finished "murdering" out my V yesterday so today was time for a wash and some new pictures. I also de-badged it. I got tired of snagging my microfiber towels on them. Thinking of tinting next but want to make sure I pass state inspection.
I'm no photographer, but here are a few shots.

Your V looks beautiful!!
I'm facing this dilemma right now. My car is getting painted and I told them I don't want the CTS badge on anymore but I left all the V badges on.

Looks nice, but i would have left the badges. You debadge when its something common like a pickup or base camaro or something and you want a clean look. You can ditch the CTS, but you have to leave the V...you paid all that extra money for it!
Maybe this is my opinion because I'm not looking to have a sleeper that I can drag at stoplights...

I'm not much of a fan of the totally blacked-out look, but I definitely like how you blacked-out the window frames like the V1's. Like the wheels too. Always thought the V2's had a little too much chome trim.

Thanks guys. I will be tinting it once I can figure out what the legal limit in PA is. No one seems to know more than "The Officer has to be able to see in clearly from 3' away" That leaves a lot of room for interpretation. I want a hard and fast number like 50% or 35%.
Tinting the tails and the front lights is illegal in PA. It looks badass but don't want to take a chance on not being able to get it past the state inspection. For my 08 Corvette, I don't care if it passes inspection so I'm a lot less conservative with that car.
As for the V badges, I'm not looking for a sleeper and rarely ever stop light race. It's honestly just because the damn V badges get stuck with Zaino or wax and keep snagging my towels. I think it looks cleaner without the V badges and I'm not out to impress anyone so I just don't care if people don't know what it is. I could have "smoked" them to better match the "murdered" theme but I'd still have issues mentioned above.
I will not be lowering it. Yes, it looks better in pictures when it is lowered but it is my daily driver and practicality wins out in this case.
I will look to blacken the fog light bezels. I wonder how easily they are removed?

By all means do your thing, but technically all tint in the front two windows is illegal in PA. You won't find anyone that will give you a specific % that is allowed. Like I said, I've never been pulled over but I'm very conscious around cops and sometimes roll the front windows down at night and I see one.

For what it's worth, I've daily driven my V1 in PA (West Chester area) for 5 years, 4 of which I've had 15% tint (very dark) and blacked out tails. I've never been pulled over in this car. I also just lowered it this year and I wish I had done it years ago, very little ride compromise and never have issues scraping.

Would love to tint mine that way. I'm not worried about getting pulled over. I live out in a middle of nowhere and rarely ever see a cop in my area. I'm more concerned about passing inspection. I won't trust my cars with just anyone and the shops I use have said they may not pass my car if it's tinted.

It's certainly not for everyone. I have enough bling on my Corvette. I want my daily driver to be as stealth as possible.
Thanks for the kudos guys. I will look to to the fog light surrounds and the gray around the front spoiler. Still not really comfortable getting tint unless I know I will pass inspection.

You should've seen this kid in a ricer try to figure out what I was driving. His head going a 180 as he drove by.
