LOL Funny you should mention that. I've truly been contemplating this. There's a spot here in NYC where they'll dip your car for you for about $500. I was just more worried about getting the actual paint in large enough quantities. I have someone who does paint already, and will probably charge me cheaper to paint it.
I definitely want to do it, but at the moment, I have bigger fish to fry.

Just bought the full kit with white dip to test on my 242 volvo.
It will be another 4 months before i can do it but will indeed post pics when it is complete.

A set of wheels takes 3 cans.. an entire car takes WAY more than that. You'd be better off buying the gallon on dipyourcar.com. $60 a gallon there. Also, aerosol sprayers are much harder to spray evenly on those large surfaces and would be very tedious. A wagner sprayer would work cheaply and effectively. You can find them on amazon for like $60 shipped. Then if you wanted you could do other peoples' cars for a couple bucks.

I did the front bumper of my V white just for fun. The front bumper alone takes almost 3 cans. They sell it in aerosol spray cans (what I used) or regular, albeit small, cans of actual "paint." I was planning to do the whole thing, but I'll be honest, I did a decent but not good job. With that kit, I know it would be A LOT easier than what I was doing. I have a crappy phone pic I'll try to load here in a little bit.

This seems like a terrible idea.
Because of its matte finish, Plasti-dip attracts dirt like a magnet and is difficult to clean. Black is bad enough--I typically repaint my plasti-dipped wheels rather than attempt to clean them. I can't even imagine how often I'd have to redo them if I chose white instead.

You wouldn't be able to draw on it like that. It has a texture to it, so it's not completely smooth. It's not rough by any means, but drawing those kind of designs would be VERY difficult. Idk if there is a way to lightly sand it to where it is completely smooth though.
