Default Saw my first Caprice PPV

Was driving through Bristol VA and had a red unmarked cruiser get on the interstate. Thought it was an Impala till I saw the flared front fenders. Didn't get to see much more than the rear but was cool to see one around here none the less. Good looking cars in person.

Yeah, they're all over the place here in UAE...both Police and civilian versions. Not bad looking cars actually...look like a G8 IMO.

UAE = United Arab Emirates. They get some different stuff over there. And I read something recently that made it sound like maybe GM was changing their mind on the "no civilian versions" stance. I don't remember where I saw that, though...

I saw a demo model on the road probably 18 months or so ago. I agree that it's a nice looking car.

Saw it a 3 months ago westbound on I-580 just south of Oakland. Saw the grille and headlights, then saw the LED's hiding behind the grille.

Needless to say, I moved over to the right.

Saw the LED lights in the fender vent, then went online to see what it was (only had a Chevy badge), and realized I couldn't get one. =/

Awfully Impala-ish to me, but I've never seen one in person.

I've seen a few around & got to ride along in the Chevy Demo car last fall. Very nice! Huge inside.

btw, the '95 9C1 in the last pic is mine.

Actually I also heard they were reconsidering the whole no civilian version. I know there were supposedly a few of them available but I think a lot of those were destined to be Law enforcement vehicles.
