Had a local mechanic who has done the crank cal procedure before on other GM vehicles try to do it on my CTS-V. I have a computer in it from Jesse bubb. He said it could not connect to the vehicle. It would do generic obd2 comm and read codes but it could not initiate any of the tech2 procedures.

Any ideas?

Update, I have a feeling he did have the parking brake set, if that is necessary...

I guess that's possible but when I got mine from him I asked him if it would be locked and he said no he didn't do that. That was 2 months ago.

He doesnt lock them unless he just started locking them

even if he locks his tunes, you should still be able to be a crank position relearn...
