Oil pressure high!
I had the engine and transmission out of my car last week doing a heads and cam swap. I installed a new GM LS6 pump that I ported as well. I have driven it maybe 15-20 miles. Tonight I started it up and let it warm up for 15 minutes to melt the snow and ice off. After that I was sitting in the car revving it a little (not beyond 3500) when I look down and the oil pressure was a little high at like 60 at idle then I revved it again then 70 at idle, next time it was 90. I am really hoping its just a sending unit and from what I have read that is the most probable cause. Anyone else experience this?

90 psi at idle would be a problem if it were that high. The pan would be empty by 5k RPM. I ported a brand new LS6 GM pump and installed two small flat washer #10 shims which bumped the pressure maybe 10psi. I have been told the ported pumps can kill a sender. Oh well this info is out there now hopefully it helps someone. It is cool seeing over 100psi of oil pressure though. My 454 has about 80 cold.

I should have the injectors Wednesday. It has been cold and snowy here as well. I have the 102mm MAF to put on also. I have the preliminary tune ready to go . I am hoping for the end of next week to have it dyno tuned at Cincy Speed.

I guess it is essentially just a GM LS3 MAF. It is in a 102mm housing and called a PowrMAF was $199. http://www.powrmax.com/PowrMAF%20100.html They have all the tables posted on the site as well so you can plug them into the tuning program of your choice.
