Default 13lbs takes down CS grey mounts

Well as the title states I ripped my CS Grey mount in half!! Ill take pics once I get a new set to replace em with. Might see if CS's new designs hold up or go with UMI's.

Punishment I broke the black ones in half with about 15 passes at the track. Creative replaced it for me so cant complain to much but if it breaks again then I dunno. Also I didnt have after market tranny mount. Now I do so hope that keeps it together

I bought the complete grey set (motor/trans)when he first made em.. They've last about 25k of pretty hard driving so I can't complain at all either. Ill see what he'll work out with me. The UMI's are pricey!!! But look to be the end all solution

and I never stated anything bad. they were great mounts while they lasted. just went with something more solid on the motor mount.

still rocking the tranny mount at least it has stood the test of time.

could not say that for the diff bushing though.

Greg o. Yes the revised version with the heat shields and the heat shields Installed correct way. I think it was from having a stock transmission mount and doing to much hard launches. Unless you are launching hard at the track you have nothing to worry about

Just got the new versions in. Went in ok. Had to leave everything loose and pry on the brackets to get the bolts started but no big deal. Trans mount looks much better than the old style. Here's the carnage. Broke the metal reinforcement inside the mount lol

I got the new version of CS's black mounts in yesterday and took the car for a little beating.. New mounts feel better than the old version by far. Deff tightened it up a little better and the trans mount is actually the right height so I'm thrilled

Yes I bought the entire CS package when he first made them. Motor and trans mount. Like I said they lasted 25k or so and I beat my car!! These mounts will get the same treatment.

Actually for what it's worth (to me alot) max called me personally about an hr ago to ask how I liked my new mounts... We had a good talk about the old vs new design and I explained how mine broke. I actually snapped the metal half moon retainer( funny thing is the weld to the washer and bolt were completely intact! I snapped the actual metal pipe haha) that to me is not craftsmanship..things just break.. It's a way of life and CS has taken care of me every single time!

Can't say enough of the customer service max and kristy put forth.. More company's need to take note in my opinion.

We also talked about subframe bushings and rear diff mounts, I immediately volunteered to be the test car! So keep an eye out for a future thread.

Thank you max and I look forward to beating the hell out of these mounts!
