I can get you the chrome Hurst shaft that is 1" taller than the one that comes in the kit. It'll be an additional $50.

If you send back your stock shifter along with the extra canaro uppers stalk to be modified for using the stock ****, I can extend it to be nearly the same height as stock.

How'd you do your console like that? Is it a dip, paint, overlay...? Looks awesome!

But am I the only one who likes stock shifters more than short throws? Ive come from VWs and hondas and ALWAYS ran stock shifters. The long throws dont bother me one bit. Short throws always seem to require more effort than they feel like they should. Ive always been able to shift my stockers better. Is it just me?
I've had a short throw in every car I've owned with a manual... Except for my old 59 F100 and 55 Apache. I love the effort it takes and the positive engagement that usually comes with them. The extra effort comes from less leverage. Try a heavier weighted ball on the shifter. It will help.

thanks man. car came like that actually when i bought it a few months ago. i think the previous owner used one of those overlay kits you can buy from ebay. i think it looks alright and i just left it on since it adds a bit of contrast to all the black plastic in the car.

Hello from Texas. I'm trying to order one of you shifter but I'm not very experienced with PayPal. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I can't wait to get this bad boy installed

Edit... I figured it out. I'm so excited now.

This may be interesting to you: I recently discovered the T-56 detent adjustment mechanism in the Tremec manual (something nobody ever realized existed during the Anti-Venom discussions), which allows users to compensate for the shorter throw of short shifters. If you're interested in checking it out, I put up several videos which may help you shift better.

Sweet, I'll have to put this on the list when I finally do LS7 clutch...in a year, or whenever the clutch can't handle the cam anymore. Unless, of course, it can be reached by tilting the trans, but that sounds painful.

The threads are 3/8-16.

Send back your stock shifter and the extra Camaro upper stalk so I can modify them to make it work with the V2 ****.

www.redlinegoods.com

$91.50 if you only buy one.

$57.00 each if you buy 5.

I bought 36 of them and the Alcantara, silver stitching, 1.5" shorter came to $49 each plus $6 shipping.

Has anyone put (or thought of putting) a T-Handle on this sucker? I've never had a car with one, but I'd think it would be a lot more comfortable and easier to keep a hold of than a cue ball... and it would look even more bad-***, no?
