You can also just buy some 2.5" coilover springs that are longer and whatever spring rate you want. again this is assuming you want to keep the Mr setup. Also we all know the LG motorsports aren't the best . The best is obviously the Penske triple adjustable coilovers.

haha no. I know a couple people run them though (Junior, darkman & 1 other i believe). Maybe down the road when if this car continues to plummet in value i would turn it into a full bred track car like junior but for now they are too expensive to justify.

This is what happens when the search function is used... THREAD REVIVAL
I've been scouring the webs for feedback on affordable coilover setups for my V1, and came across this. It seems to differ quite a lot from the feedback I've seen on the FB group, etc. I wondered if the issues the OP encountered might've been an installation error, or maybe a case of getting the wrong parts delivered or something...?

First - yes, they did send me parts that absolutely were not engineered right for our cars, especially the rear springs. At maximum height the rear was slammed to the point you couldn't get a level stance without making the front un driveable. The spring rates front and rear were super soft and resulted in immediate rubbing. To say everything about my current cut spring setup is better is an understatement.
Like Bio says, Megan Racing is cheap stuff overall, even if they fixed the flaws in that initial setup I bought.

Thanks for that update, MN V.
All said & done, which "cheap" CO set would you choose now, then? I would likely invest in some higher rate springs (swift?) as well, and it appears BC and Megan don't use linear springs which would be easier to find. So I guess it's either D2 or K Sport...
EDIT: I've gotta check back in here more often.

If you do work on the rear, replace the top of the rear shock with some BANSKI pin mounts for the CTS-V.

I installed the KW's in my car.
Lowered it 1" all around.
Rides like a go-cart.
