PSA: Deep Discount on TPMS Trigger Tool from Tire Rack- read this if you swap wheels
Hi Guys,
I recently had a TPMS sensor fail in one of my wheels. I was tinkering around with the factory reset procedure...letting air out of tires, etc...total pain in the ****. I was looking around for a solution and found this Cub TPMS tool on a deep discount at the Tire Rack. I ordered one and tried it the other day. It worked great, and I had my system reset in about 3 minutes. Far, far easier than the manual method, and much cheaper than paying a dealer or tire shop to reset your system.
For $20, it's hard to go wrong on this one. It comes with its own hard case, charger, batteries, etc.

Cool, no worries.
Another note...I also found the video below of someone doing the relearn using this tool on a CTS-V. I found that if you hold the Cub tool the same way the guy in the video does at about 1 minute in, it works better than the way the manufacturer recommends in the instruction manual.

I love that Tire Rack is in South Bend Indiana. I live in south east Michigan and have ordered tires from them Wednesday at 8:30 pm and had them at my door Thursday before noon!

Ordered mine yesterday and they charged me $9.89 for shipping + $1.61 sales tax since we're both located in Nevada.

LMAO, reminds me, I got my thermostat in yesterday. It came in a box that I swear 4 loaves of bread could fit in comfortably . . . and the only thing in it was the thermostat & a buttload of bubble wrap.
