Default DW 300 Fuel Pump Part number

I am looking to go ahead and get a DW300 and sell my Walbro 255 GSS342 I got with the hotwire kit from Racetronix. I have seen where the DW300 has been used as a direct fit in out cars, but which one. The DW website has a couple dozen options for different applications. Which exact one fits our cars. See link below for reference.

I love the easy, drop-in at of the DW for my GTO. Interested in in your answer.

The CTS-V has major problems with the fuel module's electrical connector melting and fuel leaks. There is a recall for this. You had best deal with this before upgrading your pump which will compound your problems.

All 300LPH+ pumps will exceed the current carrying capacity of the module's electrical bulkhead connector. Some customers have used our BCWS-001 to bypass this connector to avoid problems.

We offer our 255LPH FPA-008 for 500-600RWHP applications or you may consider our 340LPH RXP342 in combination with a FFT-300 and FFS-250G for higher HP levels.

HP pumps will exceed the return-flow capacity of the in-tank module-mounted regulator so external regulation may be required in some cases.

I have a brand new DW300 I'm going to sell since I sold the V1. I'll cut you a deal on it if you'd like.

What would you figure the 340 pump would support in hp with a return?

That depends on the max boost / fuel pressure, motor BSFC, desired A/F ratio and battery voltage. Performance graphs are available in our web store.

I did contact your Racetronix some time ago, and even have your CTS-V harness and BAP adapter harness. I will be shooting for 550 rwhp and adding a 150 or 200 shot possibly on a LS7 427 forged motor. I am aware of the recall, and will have the replacement unit either already installed or ready to install with the new fuel pump.

That is all besides the point. I never got more info from Racetronix than the Walbro 255 will support 550 rwhp. I will be using your harness in conjunction with the recall fix fuel unit and a 340 lph pump in tank unless I am convinced I need more than that to feed 700 rwhp on spray. I am hesitant to convert to a different return style fuel system because I am unclear on what it would take to remove the FPR from in tank, obviously a FPR on the Fast fuel rails I have would be a no brainer, but the in tank unit is where I am lost since I have never removed the unit before in this car.

Would the Racetronix BCWS-001 be in lieu of the recall fix or on top of it?
What is the warranty on the RXP342 and would I be able to return a NIB 255 GSS342 I purchased from Racetroni and get credit towards a different one?

FYI I've ordered the Lingenfelter corvette FPR block off plug to see if it fits our application. I'll let you know how it goes, im not quite sure how it fits/works. If I don't like it, I'll just remove the FPR and run my return hose back to the bucket as its shown in the twin fuel pump thread that's stickied at the top of this forum.

Does anyone run the DW300 with stock return without probs? Or does the return have to be modified?

Default FPR block off

We have several different sizes and designs of FPR block-offs, plugs, bypass etc for other vehicle applications as well. Some have relief valves in them, some have venturi/jet pump feeds in them, some are just a plug, some are a regulator bypass (but not a plug) etc.

I don't have a 2004-2007 CTS-V fuel pump module handy. If you get me the dimensions on the existing FPR I can see which, if any, will fit your application.

Yea, so ignoring that I ordered the one with holes in it (I have no idea why I didn't see that), what I got is way too big.

If you don't have anything that will work but would be interested in making something I could send mine to you. I need to return the plug anyway.

Does anyone running the DW301 know if there is a venturi provision? Do I have to do any mods to install?

Also looking forward to info on FPR upgrade options.
