Identifying marks on FG2 shocks?

Identifying marks on FG2 shocks?

Aside from the pink dashed labels, is there any way to differentiate a FG2 shock from a FE4? Stampings, dimensions? Seller claims they're FG2, but there are no labels on the shock bodies.

I believe they are physically the same except for the insides. Without the labels I would pass.

Agreed. The price is nice, but not worth the risk without concrete proof.

I just went and looked at one out in the garage, I don't see any markings on it at all other than the label.
