Sad, it took the hit better than any other car I've seen wreck like that.

crazy, that bird made a legit pass too....seemed the V was fighting traction then all of a sudden snapped him right...I wouldn't have expected that dramatic of a snap from that car...But it can happen I suppose, glad the guy got right out of the car..

Bummer..

That is good info, yup we can all sit here and say "why did he do that, why didn't he do this" but that stuff happens quick... I will however say that it does look wet and that event looks poorly managed. If you are spinning that much in that caddy leave the nannies on, you would probably turn in a better ET...

Pretty insane to see that caddies poor traction, but also watch that bird WOT and make a nice pass.

Nonetheless Im glad he walked away

Good points! I was surprised to see how they let the crowd get up all around the launch area. That's a badass GoPro camera on the roof though, didn't even budge

I was thinking the same thing, especially that far forward of the burnout box, wouldn't take much for disaster to happen...

FWIW, this was posted on Dec.14 on the CadillacOwners forum with the same description,"OUCH" and included a description of what happened by the driver who crashed.
