Default Brian Tooley blower cam V1 Maggie

Anyone run one on cathedral port heads with a Maggie?

I was curious on how well it was liked and if it is stage 1 2 or 3.

Looking to add some power HP eh. I dont know the answer but I am wondering if the bang for the buck would be worth it as your blower is spinning high as it sits. The envelope might be pushed enough? You tell me....But I do know that 555 rwtq is getting it done.

Hoping someone will chime in for you!

I have one. I spoke with Brian and told him what I wanted and we modified the intake lobe since I have a large 2.08" intake valve. Since I DD mine I wanted a soft lobe to keep from vaulting the pushrod on the intake side.

Runs well, sounds great at idle, has great low end but really shines up top. My only concern would be running out of blower up top. Martin Smallwood has a very similar cam on a 117* centerline with 0* of overlap that would have been my second choice if I had a smaller blower than the TVS 2300.

Brian and Martin are two of the best people you could ever work with.

Thanks guys, I went ahead and ordered a stage 3. At some point is like to go to a 2300 and LS3 heads so this seems like the right choice.

Stage 3 is too much for what you have. Did you speak to Brian at all? There are V2's in the 9's with his stage 1 cam.

No I didn't, but I can ask for him tomorrow. What stage is yours?

I have a stage 1 with a modified intake lobe so it's softer. The grind is fine, but I have big heavy solid 2.08" intake valves and didn't want any issues. He listened to me and sent revised specs over to be ground. I think it changed the intake from a 222* to a 221* duration.

Talk to him. He's a great guy. Very knowledgable and won't steer you wrong.

I can send you an idle clip if you like. Just PM your email or phone number so I can text it to you.

Brian gave it the blessing.

It will actually be a little more streetable with 243 heads but regardless people run them on stock converter automatics.

Got the btr pds stage 3 cam installed (Maggie on an LS2). Dang it took a long damn time but everything is working well. I'll update this with dyno numbers next week when I get them. It started and has been idling fine at 700 rpm with the previous tune untouched. Really no driving issues noticed yet so when the tune gets updated it should be even better.

Don't forget a sound clip, and Jesus I hope you have an 8.8.

I'll get an idle clip soon. My alternator went out so give me another day for a replacement.
