Wish I would of know that when I took it in. My gauge was off about a 1/8 of a tank, I assumed it was replaced. good thing I didnt run it that low.

Just got my V back from the dealership - gotta give 'em a shout out !

Penske Cadillac Southbay (So Cal) - German Vasquez is the advisor to deal with

They did precisely what I asked and nothing more.

No wash

No test drive

No arguments

Highly recommend these people for any dealership work !

I had the key recall and fuel sender recall done at Sewell Cadillac here in Houston. Good experience, on the better side of the typical dealer spectrum. Remember, dealers are just shops with niche experience...just a shop like any other and just gotta find a good one.

Read the whole thread, every GD post.

Thank you all for sharing experiences, good and bad.

I am taking my new-to-me 2006 CTS-V for the three recalls and my stomach is still wretching. I do not have time nor access to a lift like I used to anymore so I have opted to allowed someone from a Cadillac dealer I pass every day on my way to work, perform the required recalls to my car. I hope to gawd nothing bad happens. I have taken car of all my other cars by myself and I cringe at the idea of letting someone that may not give a **** about their work touching my vehicle.

Will report back.

Has anyone in northern Indiana had this procedure done yet, and if so where was it done. I can't find a dealer in a hundred mile radius that has done this and I don't wanna be the Guinea pig....

I'm in NW IN, and had mine done at Schepel in Merrillville. I'm sure they've done several, but I had to take my car back due to a heat shield rattle after they finished. Fine other than that.
