How was the removal of the old inlays? Any tips so I don't crack anything on the rest of the perimeter?

I just used a box cutter and pryed them out. Don't think you can really mess anything up. The old onlays are trash and break apart anyways.

Trashed my inlays removing. Plastidipped my badges then installed new ones with double sided tape, yellow and black.

I am saying the decal will likely fade as the stock decals did. The yellow did bother me a little when I first received my V badges as they seemed more translucent but there are a few caddie guys at work and none noticed they weren't stock. They did notice "something" different about the car.

Probably overthinking it but I wonder if any clearcoat spray paints work as a UV protectant? It wouldn't be tough to add if such a thing exists.

I went just black and yellow and opted for the brighter yellow. Its a better match to the v2 calipers

I bought a brand new OEM front grill emblem and installed it last fall. The gold color is already deteriorating from underneath. Waste of money. I'll likely use the rebadge option once I can see the more natural looking color option.

I bought 3 v badges from a chinese guy on ebay, i´m curious about them, when they will arive, how they look and if they were nearly on oem?!

If not, they will land under the Hood on the GTO fuel rail covers and i will also buy the inlays for the oem once´s

Want to tint them, someone have used Plasti Dip in smoke Color, should work like to tint your rear lights in black?!

Best regards,
Ronald

I bought 2 new OEM badges which were marked as "blemished" for 70$ to my door. They are larger than my exsisting ones, buy they may have been cheapo's. I'm not really sure, but i think they look good.
