Default Anybody order from Revshift lately?

Ordered the motor mounts and trans block from them on the 6th, and have not heard a peep from them for a shipping date, even after asking twice earlier this week.

Was really hoping to have them by Memorial Day, but it's not looking good.

Has anyone else actually gotten anything shipped lately? Don't want to go through the hassle, but if they don't answer in a day or two, I'm cancelling and ordering CS mounts.

I emailed because all I've read from them is about how they make everything themselves so they don't answer phones and email is best. Is that no longer accurate?

BTW, your post on the radio conversion convinced me to go that route. Very well done. Just ordered a radio off of ebay for $40 yesterday to hack up.

I've seen posts about that as well. I'd try calling anyways, since there's been no communication otherwise. Maybe even a PM here if you haven't done so already.

Good luck on the radio project. I love the way mine turned out. If you're a perfectionist like I am, be prepared to buy more than one radio for cosmetic reasons. That was my biggest challenge.

Best response I've gotten from them is via pm on this forum.

Refund.......order Creative Steel. Quality looks better, Service is definitely better, and the turn around time from order to mailbox is better.

Thanks BRAVADA, ,

Just looked at the calendar. If he ordered the parts now, we would have time for the post office to lose the first shipment, realize it's MIA and still get the man his parts by Memorial Day.
The parts can go out tomorrow (Friday). They can be anywhere in the country by Tuesday.

Go figure they just happen to ship out this evening...

CS, I'm definitely coming to you for the shifter soon, and possibly some other things. I'm looking forward to that interaction.

fweasel, I think I found a winner based on the pictures in the auction. When you had the radio done, what kind of shop did you take it to for the programming? I'll keep reading your threads, but that's one thing I couldn't pinpoint. If you took it to a dealer, did you do that before or after modifying the radio?

Thanks everyone else for your feedback. Looking forward to getting back into this after selling my '07 three years ago to take care of student loans.

I still think you should return and get creative steel, better products. Even with the silicone heat shields, the poly motor mounts were cooking on my car. FYI.

My shop that did the audio install knew a local guy that owned a TechII programmer, which is what you'll need to get the new radio dialed in with your VIN. When I first consulted my local GM dealer about doing that part for me, they quoted me something ridiculous like 3hrs labor. The local guy charged us $40.

Hands down. Service with CS is one of the best I have ever dealt with. They actually give a **** about what they are doing and there customers. I just wish they sold more products for our cars!
