Default My v1

So i posted in the new member introduction thread about a week or two ago now. I bought a V1 and am new to the ls platform. Here is my V

It is getting some paint correction work, new badging, and sealed up this week. I also have an appt to get it tuned the following week. Im local to rochester so new era will be doing the deed. I also purchased a bunch of bushings from revshift. motor, tranny, rear diff and cradle, also got the flex disc.. any other recommendations to beef things up a little would be geat. Dont plan to do much other than drive it after all is complete. She has ~57k miles and won't see a ny winter while in my possession.

step by step plan it out and set aside the right amount of money.

Before you tune get headers and air filter. Later intake tb and heads...

Since its not your dd you can take the performance up a tad and make it fun to drive.

There's also a poly driveshaft carrier bearing. Stiffen that drive line up..

Sooo after a quick read up(im at work), looks like the carrier bearing is unserviceable? So, just get a whole new driveshaft unit? Also are axels that big of an issue? Trying to get the drive train on this thing sorted out before i drive it too much. Or too hard.

So since taking ownership I've had the car detailed by the best up here. Also i had a tune put on it, mods, are Lingenfelter intake and a catback.. put down just over 360/360 to the tire.

Ill get some decent tires put on, do the brakes and drivetrian bushings. Then I'll just enjoy it for the rest of summer, maybe some high flow cats and an intake mani/tb upgrade before winter..

Nice job cleaning that up. Mine is crying for the buffer. You're definitely on the right track going through all the bushings first. It'll feel like a totally different car afterwards.
