EBay dual halos. They get rid of the gray insides which is a huge plus and are fairly cheap. A lot of guys including myself are running them with very few issues.

what's the problem with the ones you have?

get them refinished if they're hazy. like, legit sanding them down and an automotive clear coat. no 3M buffing kit. no toothpaste. none of that crap works for long.

all aftermarket lights are meant for the CTS and will need a plug and play HID kit to retain HID lights. that's a HUGE negative to me. the D1S is far superior to anything you can put in those aftermarket lights.

Passenger side headlight has stopped working, at one point it would fire if I kept turning them off/on but now it's dead. The headlights are definately in need of replacing, they have severe sun stress, cracks, hazing etc. I notice now also some condensation on the inside.

Car is an 05 and has been my daily driver since new, 135k miles and little things are starting to go bad, it might be time to pass the old girl on

the headlight going out is probably going to be your ballast going bad. those are easily replaceable and you can usually find them used for $125-150 each.

or you could swap out the stock ballasts for aftermarket versions. i have the plates already made up for this application.

the hazing on the headlights and cracking, depending on the depth, could be refinished by a shop most likely. mine weren't awful, but they were starting to haze and after refinishing they look perfect.

so by all means do what's within your budget and what not, but i'd lean towards OEM lights because they are just better in every way.

Well I got extremely lucky and found a set of OEM replacements with 63K on them at a local high end salavage yard, only set me back $400
