Default Creative Steel Diff Cover Leaking

I ordered the CS Rear for my V1 and had it shipped directly to TTP in NJ to have it installed, with a handful of other goodies.

I just got a call today that everything is put together, but there is leak coming from the Diff Cover.

Has anyone had this issue? The rear is brand new and directly from CS.

They sent me a couple pics, but had just wiped it off (and they are a little blurry) but you can see leakage slowly occurring in one of the corners. - Will post pics in a few hours when I have time

Thanks

The covers are modified and welded. It's possible they missed a small pin hole while welding. Unfortunately the only right way to fix it is to pull the cover, clean it, and then weld it.

My Shop got in touch with CS. They are letting them perform the repair rather send it back (very happy about this, i want my car back!). But they have to document the entire thing and send back to them, so not getting the car till Thursday night now, oh well, could be worse!

Always love seeing a sponsor step in quickly to resolve a possible issue. CS has excellent customer service from what I have heard.

Do you know what gasket they used or if they just used RTV?

I bought this and haven't had any leaks.

Lube Locker 8.8 gasket Lube Locker 8.8 gasket

It's a pretty nice piece and saves from making a mess with RTV.
