Default CTS-V Forced Induction build threads & LINKS, V1 All things Boost

Hoping this will become a sticky and continue to grow. Searching inside this forum for Turbo, Boost, supercharger brings up nearly every thread. Additionally some threads are in different forums like F.I. or in some cases classifieds (or maybe another forum.)

I'm compiling the V1 Boost threads, mainly builds or threads that have good pics/details of the setup/results. Focusing more towards custom setups or adapted....I will add Maggie setups if you PM me info, but I don't plan to seek them out (sheer volume).

Lets keep this thread clean, so PM me links or details and i'll continuously edit the first two posts.

I recommend doing a search on how to convert them to hyperlinks.

Your build is pretty gnarly. I know there are some more builds out there.....like gtistile, and 04Vguy....can't find them. The rear end solution exists, would like to see more V1 . I
I'll add links to other sites too. Bring it on, I'll add anything that at least has some pics....only caveat is they have at least get it ddriving (so that it works).

I'm going through those posts and most of them seem to have ended in 2013. Are there still people doing these things now?

I know I can pick up a Maggie for $6500, but that's a non-starter. I'm pretty sure if I wanted to put a month of my life into it, I could build a TT setup for about $2,000, but those look awfully low.

Is there anyone building a FA kit for a V1 that someone will actually buy? People selling Maggie kits for $6500 are going to be holding onto those kits for a looooooooooooooong time. I'd pay no more than $3,000.

I don't really know what you mean. These are just some cars that people have successfully modded. Use it as a tool for how success has been met, and the results they achieved.

Maggie's have their limitations, but they still work and are a Bolt-on solution for more power, and it is specifically made to work for the V1.

For those that desire more performance, the path is their choice. I find these build threads interesting, informative, and inspiring. Hopefully it will help others in their decision-making on their quest for more power.

Excellent reply.

As much as I love my maggie, the install was as much as my time and garage setup would allow not to mention it's been incredibly reliable, something I HAVE to have.

Having said that, it's highly enjoyable to read other guys' build threads when they go through Mod Hell and back ending up with a very enviable build. They're not for me to do, but to enjoy while sitting in my chair at home.

Thanks, hefftone.

I'll add the Maggie's, just haven't sought them out. Lets face there is a whole lot more of them out there to sort through, and all i have is this little android tablet. Plus, nobody has PMd or shared any builds with me... Pm me someone else's build, I don't care....none of these builds are mine, lol. I've edited this post probably 30 times.

It'd be cool to have a mild to wild Maggie section....stock plus maggie, to +cammed, +heads, and I know someone has modded the drive.
