Default Anyone try these lights?

Anyone try these lights before?

OEM HID lights without washer assy from rock auto.

GM2503315

GM2502315

I am taking the plunge, and will update later if they work.

If you have used them do I still need the bulbs and ballasts, or is it ready to go as is?

Rock auto says they are OEM, but Google seems to think otherwise. Best pic I could find of them.

At $402.78 a piece they are not cheap, but if they are plug and play I'll be happy.

I am fairly sure I've seen a few car pics with people running them.

In my experience with headlamps, HID units never come complete unless it's a LKQ or aftermarket unit. OEM stuff is usually just the housing. No bulbs or ballast.

I'm not 100% sure it comes with the ballast but other vendors of the same lights confirmed it comes with the bulbs.

I'm still waiting on rock auto to confirm.

Either way I got to do something, and D1s bulbs are common around here as are ballasts.

It will likely come with just regular bulbs, no HIDs. I'll be shocked if it comes with HID ballast and bulbs...but anything is possible.

It's going to take 2-3 weeks to get to me way over here so I will let you know when they arrive.

You could have them sent to my house first. I'll "briefly" test them for you.

They won't have the provisions for the Hids. Not will an area to mount the stock ballast.

Why do you say that?

They are advertised as GM HID headlight replacement parts and accept D1s bulbs.

Have a look on Google for the PN I listed. They are built by tiger and have very good reviews on other platforms.

Even if they don't ship with ballasts, I have some already. They do ship with bulbs.

I am happy to confirm that yes indeed they do come with new HID bulbs and ballasts installed as well as running lights and hi beams.

I will have them installed this coming weekend.

They are Purdy in my opinion. I dig them.

So for those who are waiting, a few more days and I will confirm if they are truly plug and play or not.

They are getting clear film applied tomorrow to keep them perfect. Clear coat will get destroyed here with the sand on the highways.

For those who are curious they weigh 11lbs a piece give or take a few oz.

Nice find. Do they auto-level? Do V1s in general have auto-leveling? It's been too long since I drove mine I can't remember.

I think I get the idea that our cars have auto-leveling because many listings for the base lights indicate "no auto-leveling." What's the truth?

Thanks.

Good lookin' out. 400 still hurts the wallet for a non-upgrade item, but I have a driver side headlight with a cracked lens and I might just have to get one of these.

Not a bad solution. Fixes the lens issue and new headlight gaskets.

They are pretty much stock lights in every respect.

Has anyone removed and disabled the headlight washers and just installed a blacked out cover? Have pics? Maybe a link to a how to?

I was expecting the lights to not have provisions for mounting them. But as they are oem replacement, they do.

I might just put it all back in. Not sure yet.

OK. Gonna be a day or two on additional pics of these.

My originals are on the way back stateside to my home storage so it's not like I can pop over and snap side by side pics.

Any other photo requests before I install these?
