I see you have an alradco. Did you use thinner fans on the radiator? How much clearance do you have between your fans and the harmonic balancer?

Did you lower or move the ABS module?
You say stock LS6 heads. Did you use adapter plates to mount the blower to LS6 heads?

I moved the radiator forward a inch at the top and 2 inches at the bottom . Stock fans . Abs modulator is in oem location . Used adaptor plates to mount blower to heads. Around a inch or so of clearance on the balancer. There's enough room to change the belts if needed to

posts pics & dyno sheet of his LS6 V1 with a LSA blower setup.
doesn't provide details on the setup in the OP.
forces everyone to pry the info out of him.

LOL!!!!!

come man! the people want to know! spill the beans on the setup and what you had to do to make it work in the original post.

stock pulley? cooling? fueling? what's the hood clearance situation? doesn't seem like anything has been cut in the 2nd pic.

Default Headers

Does the car have headers? What fuel pump did you use? Stock lsa rail and injectors? Is that the ls6 ps pump with the reservoir moved?

I think that 1800 is only for the lsa parts and dyno tune. Kind of a deceptive number unless you think your time isn't worth anything. That said, this appears to be a really nice swap. Maggie numbers or a little better for less money. What's not to love?

Where did you source the parts from?

Blower, lid ,fuel injectors, fuel rail are all used off a 09 ctsv. Stock ls6 manifolds with cats gutted. Ls3 water pump. Ls6 p/s pump just moved reservoir. Walbro 450lbs pump
Ebay adaptors . Found the pulley and brackets for the belt on ebay. Had to cut the inner structure of the hood out to clear the blower. I'll get some more pictures of the hood and how I moved the radiator tomorrow .

Yes! So glad I saw this I have been tossing up the idea of throwing a LSA on my car but some guys are saying you can't do it with the stock hood, well you have proved that wrong.

There's been a lot of speculation about whether this would work without compromise. Does it have the stock width V2 drive belt or is it narrower than that?

Would you mind providing a link to the adapter plates? I imagine they'd be the same ones necessary for an LS2 to run this blower.

There just 3bolt to 4 bolt throttle body adaptor or ls1 to ls3 . Ls1 to ls3 intake adaptors . There easy to find on ebay. The belt and drive pulleys are all stock ctsv v2 . You do have to extend the wires going to the throttle body. Still need to make a ps reservoir bracket and dress up the hood

how does the car feel without a front strut bar?

the trimming of the hood doesn't look bad at all. what do you have going on for cooling mods?

Unless you track the car on a road course you will never know the strut tower brace is gone. I haven't noticed any diffrence.

The V2 strut tower should fit on the V1, it will have more clearance.
