Default CTS sun visor question.

How do you CTS owners like your sun visors ? Any issues ?

I found a pair that I might install in a Trans Am.

The CTS sun visors are very nice compared to OEM F-bodies.

Coming from someone who has both cars, the CTS Sun visors are a lot more useful.

I installed tan driver & passenger sun visors in a 2000 TA & wired them into the rear mirror wiring. Much better. All mirror lights work.

T-Top car? If so, how much of the visor is exposed with the tops off?

I'm not sure what you mean. From what I see, the sun visors are not really exposed with the T-tops off. Can you see them, yes. However, due to being vinyl and high quality compared to OEM, they look great, IMO.

People still use sun visors. I just get a good pair of sunglasses

I have never liked nor disliked a sun visor in a car in my entire life.

So if I'm reading your reply correctly, the sunvisors (folded up/not in use) are not visible from a Bird's-Eye-View with the T-Tops off? If so, that's surprising but a nice positive!

Any completed pics of how they came out?

I understand your question. With the T-tops off, the sun visors are visible when looking down from a " birds eye view ", aka a plan view. However, its about a 1/4 maybe a 1/3 exposed. But, they look great. When standing beside the car looking in, with the T-tops off, due the better quality, the sun visors enhance the car, from something as simple as vinyl sun visors. I used the tan color, which go well with a pewter colored TA.

I found a gray pair today, for a black TA. However, the gray color vinyl is not as clean or nice looking as the tan. I will probably get a tan pair when I finish the pewter car's projects.

Did you have to re-drill holes? I just got an extra set of CTS visors for my Trans Am.
