I have had the PA15-VETTE in my car for a few years. For whatever reason when originally installed, it took a couple of days of driving the car before it worked as more than a battery charger. Still it doesn't consistently display the artist and song title, but it always streams just fine. Has anybody found an order of operations to make the display work properly? Is this a common issue?

Never a problem like that with mine. Check your pin out code on the unit itself and try the other combo. Mine worked the same on both of the ones recommended.

Do these work with Android devices as well?

For android phone you need to use the Aux cable. No info will be displayed on the screen though.

OK, thanks. Sounds like I can go the $30 route instead.

Mine will randomly show XM/Sirius stains in place of my Ipod presets, i.e., Nashville instead of ARTIST. I forget what it takes to fix it...involves repluggimg the ipod.
