Default Axle/Diff compatibility

Nik, I searched this and got the phone book...just need to confirm some info.

Stock V1 outer CVs are bigger/different that CTS outers and won't interchange...

CTS and V1 diffs are essentially the same except for limited slip...

V1 and CTS inner CVs are the same...

What ratios do stock CTSs come with?

I've used base axles with my stock diff.

They are thinner, and not as strong but it will get you down the road.

However they don't exactly always seat well when you Install them. There was a gap at the hub, but ran smoothly.
