Help with foglight HID
I got a set of the 5K 9145 fog light bulbs with the slim ballasts 35 Watts.
But when I plug the ballast to the bulbs and plug the ballast to the original harness they don't come on. Is there something else Im missing or need to do?

I've also tried both bulbs with both ballasts and I have a spare set of ballasts and still no luck. Think maybe I need that harness with the relay in it?

Checked another thread fromDmax/04v.
Got them working they came on.
Had to take the factory fog light plug and plug it into the ballast backwards to where it wont lock together. Instead of locking it together they way u would think it goes

I don't know what brand they are i had two different sets of Ballasts Laying around so I just order the bulbs and made a kid like that. but one of the ballast was bad and the other set one ballast flickered. So when I had two different good ballasts hooked up, one look brighter than the other when they both were 12 V 35 watt. One look a lil blue and one look bright white so I couldn't mix match them. So now I got the good working set on there with the one flickering Ballast and they both match bright white now but I don't like the flickering So now I'm just gonna have to order new ballasts I'll look into the ones you suggested. Thanks

They're both no name ballasts. They just say H ID ballast on them so probly some cheapass crap. I shoulda order new ones when I order the bulbs the other day. I spent 13 on the bulbs and I could a got the whole kit of the DDM like you said for 27

Run into the same issues with my HID kit on fog lights, tried eeverything i can on wiring, but no luck, it won't work!
Electric technican told me to use the extra harness with Relay from the kit, to Keep it running, will Try next Time, had to pull the Front Bumper for better wiring from cables...

I'm sure you can find them cheaper but I needed them next day delivered, this is what I bought. 3 or so months running and perfect operation. The older ddm kit I had I would get a random flicker every now and again but for the price I didn't care.

I went with 5k on top and bottom. More pure white than OEM but not blue at all...that was the 6k which I didn't prefer. The LED fogs do put out a usable amount of light like MNV said, they fill in around the throw of the HIDs really nicely. I don't remember the brand but I could dig for you if that's what you're wanting.
