I'll probably be opening a group buy in the next few weeks! It took a little longer than I'd hoped to build fixtures etc, but I think it's finally done. Two testers should be installed in the next week! Hopefully over the weekend I'm going to do either a written installation instruction, or I might try my hand at an install video instead.

bmylez... a thumbs up from Chuck, AWESOME!

Ironhydrozide: $599 + shipping, I'll probably just say $650 shipped to keep it simple.

huh. sooooo this may sound crazy but has any equipment been used to actually test if it takes a lot of the harsh vibes off the diff or make an improvement to keep it alive? it looks good. the price is fine if it works. just curious if its more just an improvement over the BMR stuff or if there is a way to see if it offloads the stress and wheel hop ****. and i am asking as an interested potential buyer.

Hi,

If I can envision what you're thinking about, it would be a bunch of strain gauges attached to a diff with and without the brace, all of this loaded into some kind of calibrated test cell that could apply specific repeatable loads and measure the results. For full disclosure here, I'm just a fellow enthusiast in my garage enjoying a hobby and I don't have access to any equipment like that! I ran this brace in my car for a few years with a gen 4 diff and CS front bushing & some 1000 HP axles from DSS and although I did snap one of the DSS CV joints inside the diff once, the diff itself never failed. I wish I had a more sophisticated answer for you, but hey I'd rather be honest and let people decide if they want to try it or not!

I hope that makes sense.

Thanks!
Mark

Interesting. How long has it seen your current power levels ("690HP 525TQ")?

This looks like it follows the same concept of what the KARS kit did, but with a more robust looking diff "cradle"? What part of the car does the bar with 4 tabs mount to?

It was about 1.5-2 years with the procharger, all street miles. Ultimately CS ran a Christmas special on their 8.8 kit and I hopped on that. This pretty much just sat on the shelf for the last few years until here recently a few guys IM'd me asking to revive it.
