Air pressure release sound from engine bay...
When the engine is shut off, just as it completely stops rotating, there is a "poof" sound -- like high pressure air is being [instantly] released. It sounds like its coming from the passenger side of the engine but I can't tell for sure.
Anybody know what that might be and whether I have something that needs to be fixed or not?
Thanks in advance...

Thanks all. Embarrassing to say that we were never able to locate the exact place the sound was coming from. Its going in to the dealership this morning to get a fuel pump recall done. We'll let those folks take a shot a locating the sound and its cause.

The dealership service guy said the sound was coming from the aftermarket intake manifold (FAST 102). No more information than that. I'll ask my son to follow up one more time and ask the guy from exactly where on the manifold and [his opinion for] why.

If you have Drive by wire throttle, they often make a whooshing sound as the power goes off from the ECU, I think its the eco stroking it once and parking it an minimum.. ??
