But all the power wires for those pumps will be nice and short! Haha. I saw the optima and went WTF that thing weighs a ton!

Nice car. Probably slow, but still nice.

The intake through the hood is cool. The exhaust? No way. I understand it's easy and simple, but who the F wants to pipe their exhaust in through their windows? And it reminds me of Dodge truck guys putting stacks in their bed. Why?

How fast is your car? Must run at least 8's @ 160+ to call this car slow.

You act like you've been huffing exhaust fumes your whole life, should be right up your alley!

Given the turbo's location, it's probably the only practical way to deal with the exhaust anyway. No room for a down pipe on that side with the steering column there. And it's a drag car--the hood stack adds to the show.

I was about to say if drag car was the theme it would be way faster! Certainly wouldn't be 4,200lbs haha

CTS guys are touchy. My car runs 5's, so yeah, that thing is slow.

It's called sarcasm billy bob. The car is obviously sick. Best looking 1st gen I've ever seen. Not a fan of hood exhaust though, that's all. I think it taints an otherwise perfect car.

Thanks man! My buddy sent me the link yesterday. Pretty cool to see someone elses perspective in a well thought out piece and not just a quick Facebook post. I enjoyed it!

He's a G8 guy lol. He as well as others have played an instrumental part in getting it to where it is so there is a certain amount of pride we take in everyones cars we deal with. Believe me, there are plans for the exhaust. The hood exit was a lazy effort to get the cae to the track ASAP and it stuck around longer than I wanted. It's "cool' for about 15 minutes and then I've had enough haha.
