Ac delco pf-58 long oil filter
Has anybody used these? Do they have the anti drain back valve?
I wanted a longer filter instead of that tiny pf47e thing it tells u to use.
I figured i didnt need a anti drain back valve filter since it dont side sideways or upside down, so i ordered a 12 pack box for only 20 bucks shipped.
So lets see how they do for me

I use whatever comes up for a 2000 Northstar - Bosch, ACDelco, Mobil1, K&N, Wix/Purolator, whatever good brand is cheapest. (I suppose any other year would be the same, I just search for 2000 Seville because it's easy to remember.) Same deal - it's a longer filter, and I've always figured more filter area is a good thing. Off the top of my head I don't remember which part # it is for ACDelco, it may be 58.

I'm fairly certain that the PF61 does not have an anti-drain back valve, which is fine for our application. It shouldn't matter as our filters are vertical mount and will be full of oil all the time vs. other applications where the filter is horizontal mount and needs that anti-drain back feature.
