I noticed the trans mount has had an updated design. Any details about what's changed and why?

Pivot without sag, disperse the load instead of reflecting it = fewer vibes created, fewer vibes felt. Looks like a good piece of engineering.

Nice. Perhaps that also means it's compatible with OEM motor mounts? I believe their previous mount fought the compliance of the soft OEM mounts and caused issues.

Creative Steel, can you confirm the answers from other customers above?

How about a discount if we turn in our previous trans mount?

What bio said is correct. We redesigned it because the original design wasn't perfect. It was trying to stop the pivot of the engine, and was causing the urethane to delaminate from the metal. To remedy that we made the transmission mount able to pivot and lowered the amount of surface area all contributing to vibrations and noise. The new mount "should" work with stock OEM mounts as far as a noise factor, but we haven't had anyone confirm.

We are not taking back our previous mounts. But if your current mount fails on you we will most likely warranty it for the newer version.

Just ordered some trailing arm bushing this morning what's the turn around time with the holiday, trying to fix the horrible wobble the car has.

With the national shipping overload that stems from Black Friday, I would imagine it won't be as quick as it normally is.

In addition, you may still find the rear end wobbly if you're only replacing the trailing arm bushings. You'll probably need the toe rods too, at minimum. They work together (with the control arm bushings) to hold the rear suspension in place. If you mix and match hardnesses, some parts flex more than others and can lend to an unsettled feel.
