Default Squeaking belts

I just picked up an 07 v and it's had a belt squeak when cold. I replaced both belts on the car and checked the idler and tension pulleys and they seem fine. Has anybody had this issue with theirs. I hate to throw new tensioners on it without probable cause.

No balancer wobble to speak of. Thinking I'm going to have to throw some parts at it to figure it out.

Pull the main belt off, start the car, and see if the sound goes away.

This is where a mechanic's stethoscope comes in handy.

It is quiet as a mouse with belt off. Only really makes noise on accelerating past 3k rpm. Takes a few seconds after letting off to stop making noise. Definitely seems to be on main belt.

I've also had issues with the alternator not charging on sub 30 degree startups until I rev up the motor a bit.

How cold? And are you sure it’s a belt Squeek? The power steering pump in these things can get pretty groany below freezing. I even put the cold weather fluid in and it still does it sometimes.

Im still going with damper wobble, mine wasnt very noticeable by sight, but was defly the culprit. You can see if the belt is running aligned, check for lines or walking otherwise on belt n pulleys

Mine went bad after 25k miles...
