I'd consider doing a hub swap to go 5 lug and buying a nice set of wheels from the get-go before you go sinking any money into OE wheels.

This is coming from someone who has replaced all hubs with OE 6 lugs and has heavy *** STS-V wheels. 19's are really the ideal size on this car, IMO.

Just finished up the following

Plugs & wires
Valve cover gaskets
Rear diff bushing

My hands are so sore from the plug install..... Might be why the car had the stock stuff at 117K

Next up

Motor mounts
Rear main seal
Clutch

Getting close to driving it. After seeing the condition of the rear diff bushing I know why the car had a horrible clunk on the test drive. We thought it was the motor mount which is broken but it was for sure the rear bushing.

Its so hard to resist buying headers at this point but I am pacing myself as I want to keep the mods in check as I have yet to even drive this car more than the few miles during the test drive with a bad clutch.

Clutch and rear main at the same time is smart. Get an oil pan gasket just in case, to have on hand.

Do headers at the same time as motor mounts! Should have done headers, plugs, and motor mounts all at once, tons of overlapping labor time.

Post some pics!

I took this approach too and did them at the same time. Now looking back on it after having removed and reinstalled the long tubes after the fact, it's not that bad. The worst part is bashing on the tubes around the steering column for the OBX and Kooks 1-7/8" sets.

A pic of it on the trailer as we headed back to Ohio.

Going to wait to do headers as I want to save up the $$ for a set of Kooks.

Westwopper - The Uhaul was a funny story as I put a facebook message asking to use a trailer for this run. A buddy from high school offers up his 20 foot car trailer to use for free. I go to pick it up and its the same trailer he had back in high school (1990) and its trashed. I figure if I can get the lights to work buying tires for it would be cheaper than renting the UHAUL but after hours of chasing bad wires I gave up and headed south to rent one once I got to Texas.
