It's not like there's been some huge groundswell of support for the Feal setup. It took Doble almost 3 months to get 5 people to commit. By comparison, you started your thread in late June 2017 within 5 weeks had half a dozen people who said they were interested.

Seems to me the main differences are that Fortune Auto wanted twice as many people to place orders (10 vs 5), and that Feal had already created a "prototype" in the form of the set that the owner had created for his own V. In August 2017 your good friend Shingouki1 said FA was still planning on getting a V in for prototype development in September 2017. He never posted again, so apparently the source of the potential group buy lost interest.

  • "Spring rates are 12k/6k for true rear and 12k/14k for stock location rears standard, but like all our other 441 kits we do have custom valving and rates available."

Since Juan and I still own another car of the same type, we still talk and it was a shame we could not get that going. Fortune Auto had access to a V1 through another mutual friend of ours right in MD that would offer Fortune the car for any time at any time. Without the ten commitments, couldn't go anywhere with it. Please do not suggest the idea of Juan backing out. He has done countless group buys for me and other car communities and always pulls through. The source of the group buy would have easily stepped up if the community had been there to support the endeavor. Such as most custom group buys, another similar fate rears its ugly head. I understand from and R&D point of view from Fortune Side.

Looks like Feal guy owned one (a V1) and wanted to do it. That is a huge helping nudge in the right direction towards accomplishing a goal (when maintaining the business can take a back seat also). Did anyone purchase any of these units or this is just a prototype floating around being tested? How many miles?

6 sets have been built and shipped. Feal has gotten a lot of interest apparently and are now going to put them in production. Excess horsepower will be selling them.

That's good to hear. We often forget that there are tens of thousands of CTS cars without V8s out there.

Finally put them on. Went ahead and replaced the rear lower shock bushings and lower control arm bushings while I was there. Also if anyone was wondering a 19x10 wheel will clear a true coilover setup. All that's left is to fix my SW exhaust I'm really getting tired of this exhaust can never get a right alignment.

So far it's been good really haven't pushed it because of the weather in Texas. I'm still messing with the ride height and adjusting it to my liking.

I did the rear spring in the stock location but I think coil overs would clear that tire also.

It fits. The problem is they don't make 305's anymore in a basic street tire. They track tires. 18 inch anyways so I'm gonna try 315.
