Default Need a corsa resonator

So this weekend my corsa resonator has started making a very strong rattling noise. It will go away for a min or two when driving but will return and it is very loud. Sounds horrible.

anyone have any luck replacing the resonator?

Anyone selling the resonator from there corsa maybe after going to an x pipe?

Make sure it's not hitting the little cross brace. That makes a nice rattle if it does.

99.9% sure it’s the resonator. I had it on a lift today and stood under the car. I could hear knocking inside the resonator, when I hit the resonator.

I had no luck with this car since day 1.

I just bought some kooks headers and hi flo cats and now basically the only part of the exhaust I was planning on keeping dies.

Anyone have success rewelding corsa resonators?

I bought the car with the corsa attached and no way of getting a receipt so the lifetime warranty is garbage.

The resonators usually crack at the inlet and can be re-welded. The exhaust needs to be supported in the middle section better to relieve stress at that resonator point and at the headers. I had most of my corsa connections welded, an exhaust hangar added to the middle and it turned out pretty good.

I put a used Corsa on mine. Fired it up for the first time and same noise as youre describing. Baffles were broken inside the resonators., I just had the exhaust shop cut them out and straight pipe where they were.

Here is what I replaced mine with 2 weeks ago. No drone that I have noticed, it is a little louder/raspier when you are heavy on the throttle. I just cut it to length and it bolts right in.
