Default How many V1 owners do we have here?

Seeing as these are at least 11 years old now, I was curious how many members still have a V1 nowadays.

First gen first year (2004) owner here! 204K miles on it. I still enjoy driving it as my daily and smile when I see it in my garage.

Almost joined the V2 club twice last week, but M6 V2's are too expensive. I still like my V1 so I may just add some power and keep rolling for another few years.

Joined the V1 club when I picked up my 05 in January. It's a love hate relationship for sure.......

Purchased new by 1st owner in Texas who handed it down to his kid when he graduated high school.
The kid was scammed out of the car when he put it on CL. At this point it was stock
The scammer flipped it to the guy I bought it off of.
When I purchased it the car had Borla mufflers as well as a Hurst shifter, Wilwood CMC and a Volant cold air kit. The guy had paid a shop to put a spec clutch in the car but did not replace the slave and it had failed. He was not able to fix the car so I snatched it up for 9K and towed it back to Ohio.
I have since done alot to the car and man is it fun to drive

Monster clutch
Kooks headers
Reconditioned the wheels
Voo doo chicken carrier bearing
Gen1V brace and bar
Rotors and pads
Firestone Indy 500 tires
Tune up and dyno tune
UMI mounts
CS diff bushing

Coming up on 11 years of ownership, about to roll 147,000 miles (bought it with ~18k). Still love it, still throwing money at it.

2 years and counting. Almost finished modding it how I want.

I've doubled the mileage during this time. 237,000 kms on the clock.

8 years and 100k miles I have put on her. The sound of the car with the long tubes and exhaust never fail to put a smile on my face.

I am happy to see more long term owners and not a flash pan of short term owners. That should be encouraging for the second adn third gen of owners that seem to be popping up now. I am the third owner of my V1. Both prior owners did zero maintenance to the vehicle. Everything is stock, original, worn, and soft and squishy.

Bought my '05 at the end of Jan 2017 with a little under 85K miles on it (From the original owners) and have put about 15K miles on it since (sitting at 99,618 as of today). The only things they had done was a UUC shifter CAGs delete.

Owned Just over 2 years. Bought at 74k, now have about 83k on it. I've replaced: motor mounts, ls7 clutch/fw, speed bleeder, clutch master, trans mount insert, trans bushings (brass and the delrin), cheapo diff bushing, headers, removed cats, truck starter, spoiler, short throw shifter, and android radio. Somewhat tuned by myself using hptuners, but still a long way to go - I'm teaching myself how.

About the only things left for a while are:
driveshaft support - also chasing a vibration after the clutch replaced, probably have driveshaft clocked
replacing clutch pedal assembly ( OOPS. I used gorilla force when bleeding the clutch, bent the frame a bit and popped the return spring because the disconnect fittings weren't properly seated between master and slave),
working on cosmetics.

I have an 07 that I've owned for about a year 176k on it with headers and muffler delete. I am still getting to know what it needs at this point but know I like it as it is.
