Default 228r 243 head milling

About too pull the trigger on the stage 1 porting of my 243 heads, kooks longtubes and a 228R on a 114. Just wondering how much to mill off the heads. The stock chambers are 64cc i believe. Would it hurt to do 63cc?

You might have more luck asking in the Gen III internal / external engine forums - bigger audience there than just this small 1st gen CTS-V group.

Contact Thompson motorsprts or Advanced induction if you are looking at some port work and cam .

They will walk you through everything.

I'm going with thompson 235cc CNC ported 243 heads and a 222/226 .600/.600 117 cam myself.

You'll love that cam, it is quiet and easy on the valvetrain.
