there just sitting there zip tied down..im not sure what im going to do with them. maybe they make a kit where you can put it on your wipers? but for now i wont be using them.I also had to cut a little notch in the radiator shroud bc the hood latch was catching on it. Also had to bend the latch a little bit to the left bc it didnt line up with the latch. The shop thinks it was bent the opposite way during shipping

i have been saying that since day one. the space(from looking at it head on) on the left is much bigger then the right. they fucked up making it. that is why i never ordered one.

I bought this same hood for one of my Vs, and it sucks. The materials used on it where crap according to my bodyshop guy, and the hood lines up like crap, the Passenger side is higher than the drivers side, The lips on the side to hide the layers dont allow the hood to shut without spacing it, You have to make larger hood gaps by moving the fenders out alot, I had to put alot of washers in the fenders to "Try" to get the hood to line up, and it still isnt perfect.. Also the front passenger side actually hits and sits on the triangle on the headlight, and the other side does not..... I was Very dissapointed for the price i paid for a supposed "High Quality" hood..

I find it pretty ridiculous that at the price they want for these hoods that quality is subpar. what does the Manufacturer have to say?

I never contacted spectre because the hood was already painted "$1500 bucks" and i didnt want to have to pay that amount again to the painter. So i just left it.

Wow, you got ahold of them. They must not need the business, I've left two messages for them and never got a returned call.

Default Extreme Composites Contact Info

I just found my invoice for my hood. Here is the contact information should anyone be interested:

Extreme Composites
170 Inwood Drive
Rockdale, TX 76567
Office#512.446.6117

I gave $100.00 down payment, and was billed for another $600.00 at completion with shipping costs at an additional $125.00+/-.
The hood is PVC, and mine was finished poorly. I believe the body should spent over 5 hours prepping the hood before painting. Overall I am pleased, as it does make the V look meaner.
