Default V-cowl hood

My V has a polished Magna Charger and the manifold has rubbed its way through the hood liner. I haven't seen any cowl hoods but if anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

I also have chrome 20's on the car and was wondering if they are going to make me that much slower out of the box.

The wheels may effect the final drive ratio. Try this http://www.web-cars.com/math/tiresize.html

try that for a new hood....not really cowl, STS-V style...should give you the clearance your looking for though.

lol, the one with the heat extractors??? Im not a big fan of that hood, it's ok...personally stock looks best, but I know you can't....you should have just cut the stocker and did a shacker hood ...but then you'd be really far from a "stock" look.

No thank god they make another type. That heat one looks too importish for me. it will look like an stsv hood just a little taller i believe.

Got a link on that other hood? I think i paid 1500 for my other one. What color is it?

I think it's not painted and you're right it does look a little like the sts-v --- Specterwerks is a very nice look IMO but a tad pricy - 1,600-1,800 un painted.

Figure 700 to paint it from a dealer or maybe cheaper with a body shop.
