Does anyone know where I could the latest updated DVD for my Navi. When I go to brothers house, it shows me in a open field. Can I buy one from the Cadillac Dealership? Thanks for the help.

The dealership won't be able to give you one.

You can get new ones from www.gmnavdisc.com. I think the new ones are $200 from there, though I've heard there are other sources where you can get them cheaper...

Yes but difficult. There was someone on here about 2 months ago that did an awsome job. Just try and search for it.

I have a zenrin 6.6 Disc, which is the latest you can get for our cars. If you radio doesn't have a new firmware on it, the new disc won't work properly. You need to update the nav unit before you can use the newer discs.

Send me a PM if you have any questions.

When was your car manufactured? If it was built in 04 or early 05, you will need an update. You can take it to the dealer to get it updated or ask here for the CD to be sent to you.

http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...-firmware.html

I have a copy of the disc as well, that I can send you.

To update it, you just pop the disc in and the process is automatic, takes anywhere between 10-20 minutes.

no, they add information about new streets and points of interest. In Vegas a 2004 DVD is useless because half the streets didnt exists 4 years ago.
