Default Best Heat Exchanger for V2?

I am in the process of painting grills and all chrome on car black. While the bumper is off I thought I might as well change the heat exchanger. What is the best kit out there from your experience and what should I stay away from? This for my 2011 V. Thanks

Not much info on this forum for V2's.

Try "Cadillacowners" & "CTS-Vowners".

Try "WeaponX" for parts.

Most guys swear by the track attack heat exchanger from weapon x. I personally got the C&W heat exchanger, it's almost identical in size and shape to the track attack so I figure it does the job equally the same. Here's a couple pics, it's painted black but you can see its huge, and is maybe 3 times thicker than the oem unit.

Fastest stock blower CTSV runs a stock heat exchanger with an ice box... for whatever that's worth.

I can't understand all of the bad attitude/attitudes towards D3 in Signal Hill, CA.
I've had a lot of work done by D3 on my modded '09 CTS-V and it has always been top notch. They have always treated me royally. They did my brakes last week and the work was top notch as always. The price/cost was great too. They did their best to save me money where they could. Going back today today to have them take a look at & listen to my motor (noisy pulley). They've always given me a ride home after I drop my car off & they've always picked me up to get my car. They have just moved into a new location & are quite busy still shuffling everything around getting settled in. Even when I call for pricing & info they always get back to me pretty quick. Great bunch of guys, too.

Couldnt you use the zr1 heat exchanger? Or is the design too different from the V?

Well that needs to change

I'm a WeaponX fan myself, and what's I'll be using here shortly. Their track attack looks nice.

Also, don't forget there's 2 different D3 companies, and I think that's where folks get confused.

I would check out the Fluidyne triple pass heat exchanger as well. Excellent unit.
