2nd Gen CTS-V to buy or not to buy!

I'm not really willing to drop the dollaz for a C7 just yet, but I see 2010-2012 C6 Grandsports and CTS-v's going for the low $30k's. I was C6 vette all the way, but I took a hard look at the V's and I cant seem to shake it now. I really want the combination on power and luxury, any suggestions you guys can give me, or pros and cons about your V cars? Also, how does the car respond to bolt on mods for power, and how much power can be made reliably without sacrificing comfort.

Have you test drove one yet? Once you do, you'll list your 4th gen for sale and never look back.

I would go CTS-V over a C6.

I considered both the C6 Z06 and CTS-V when I was looking. Ended up with the V, and love it. Nothing like having a 10 second 4 door car that I can drive across the country in comfort, and it reasonably quiet unless I'm getting on it.

Well at least I know I’m not the only one that has faced that dilemma. Started looking at the corvettes when my trans am was stolen, but always liked the CTS-V for the luxury car look and the fact that it had a back seat for my kids. Maybe that test drive will be enough to help me sign the paperwork.
