2nd Gen CTS-V to buy or not to buy! I'm not really willing to drop the dollaz for a C7 just yet, but I see 2010-2012 C6 Grandsports and CTS-v's going for the low $30k's. I was C6 vette all the way, but I took a hard look at the V's and I cant seem to shake it now. I really want the combination on power and luxury, any suggestions you guys can give me, or pros and cons about your V cars? Also, how does the car respond to bolt on mods for power, and how much power can be made reliably without sacrificing comfort. |
Have you test drove one yet? Once you do, you'll list your 4th gen for sale and never look back. |
I would go CTS-V over a C6. |

I considered both the C6 Z06 and CTS-V when I was looking. Ended up with the V, and love it. Nothing like having a 10 second 4 door car that I can drive across the country in comfort, and it reasonably quiet unless I'm getting on it. |
Well at least I know I’m not the only one that has faced that dilemma. Started looking at the corvettes when my trans am was stolen, but always liked the CTS-V for the luxury car look and the fact that it had a back seat for my kids. Maybe that test drive will be enough to help me sign the paperwork. |
