Dont see it happening due to how tall it is at the throttle body. You're not gaing much clearance in that area with the EC hood.

I checked on it a while back and no it won't fit. You get approximately 1.5 to 2 inches extra in the front and 2 inches toward the windshield.

You need aprox 5 to 5.5 inches above the stock throttle body for the Holley or Edelbrock intake. The guy at extreme composites did say that if he has 10-20 firm orders they could make a hood to clear.

That sucks. How many guys are going to put on high rises all at once? Probably not 15. That extra clearance would be good with a big supercharger too like a kenne bell or that Whipple that someone has installed. I bet if you sweet talked him a little, paid a little extra too, he could do it. Otherwise, take after the hood with a cutoff wheel and make a cowl.

damn it... wondering now if I should stay with my ported ls3 or wait for the mid rise... and if it would clear or not I know the front on the mid rise needs 10.44 ...

the next question would be is holley going to produce it or not. and if so... I have seen a local guy notch his stock hood and get a truck intake on his V. I hear the mid rise is about an inch taller... any thoughts on that combo

going FI in about 8 months rather not have building set backs lol

What forced induction? Procharger or turbos? I would think the LS3 would be good enough for those as long as you aren't putting like a billion psi through em. I assume you aren't going roots hybrid or twin screw since you are taking about a high rise
