I doubt those charges will stick and the fire dept. vehicle will be in the pound for no more than 2days....and the cop that decided to be a hero will prolly face some music from his peers...

The law needs to be revisited or scrapped (since there are previous legislation in place) and the people enforcing the law are given too much....

It's pretty clean cut.. I mean he WASN'T responding to a call... so why speed?

yea true....but that is not the kind of stuff that should be publicized...looks bad, and I am sure the cops superiors are not the happiest either....

It looks good on him. The law needs to be changed and this may just draw enough attention for something to happen.

^LOL! what a load of bull.....too bad thats not the case when Mrs. Public gets her minivan taken away for a week along with her license, leaving her and little Johnny and Sally on the side of the road...Im sure there is no sympathy there...
