Default For Sale, Motive 3:90 gear.

Hey, if anyone in the Ottawa area or shipping distance is interested I have a barely used set of Motive 3:90 with less than 100 kms on them. Honestly, they were not as quiet as hoped and I went to a 3:73. They were set up by a known specialist here in Ottawa, he left a pattern on them and documented his specs. He says its because the WS6 suspension telegraphs the noise (only when between on/off throttle during light cruise, otherwise quiet). I need $150, Les...

The noise is really that bad? How much work is involved with putting them in?

No, the noise is only between on/off throttle and quieter than the 3:42 that was taken out. Keep in mind that this was with my setup, I had a used 3:73 put in my 2wd supercharged Jimmy and had no issues with it. I just found that the 3:90 had too much torque for my driving style, I was breaking loose in 2nd and shifting all the time! I did not do the work, I do most of my own work but I had a professional do the swap. Lots of guys do their own and I guess if you set them up to the included specs you would be fine. PM me if you are interested, Les...
