Default Any Ottawa guys looking to get tuned?

Hey guys,
I am getting my car tuned by Arun Ahuja who is arguably the best LSx tuner in Canada.

He said he would come to Ottawa if we had a total of 3 or 4 cars to do.

I am looking to get tuned within the next couple of weeks.

So if you guys know of anyone looking to get tuned please let me know or have them contact me at ntimd8@hotmail.com

I think the cost is $450 for a full street tune.

Thanks,
Jason

I have to ask the question cause I e-mailed Frost a couple weeks back as to what he could offer over stock. For an auto there are some gains in shifting, electric fans. For an M6, not much apart from the "skip shift". The LS1 is pretty good stock, cam and headers and so on would definitly benefit from a tune. So not to spoil the fun, what kind of gains is he offering for $450? Les...

Sorry, I am not sure what the gains would be of tuning a stock car. I am sure the question has been asked before so maybe a search would get you an answer?

Hey Guys,
Here is a rough idea of what Arun charges. Everywhere I have posted this people keep praising Arun's tuning ability so don't be shy to join in on this!!

H/C $450, headers bolt-ons, $350, no mods $250

Fair enough and I wasn't knocking the possibilities, I was hoping a mail order tune would help me out and I figured there would be others like me. So I was passing on that from what I learned that there is not much gain over stock, so far!

I will just say that after having had more tunes done on the car then I car to think about Arun spent the most time and seemed to take the most care with getting it right. It only took 3 pulls on the dyno to hit the wot where most clowns strap the car to the dyno and beat the hell out of it to try for that max number.
I only met Arun when I had this tune done and this praise doesn't mean that I would expect any kind of discount when I need that speed density done.

Hey Dom,
It's Jason. Long time no talk!!! I want to get htis done either the weekend coming or the weekend after. Let me know if you want in for sure.

With me, you and Drew that might be enough for Arun to come down.

Awesome! I just called Arun and told him it looks like we have enough people and he confirmed that he can come down on the 21st to tune our cars!

Now all we have to do is keep our fingers corssed for good weather.

champain,
I'll send you a pm for some info then I can give you a call about some specifics.

i wonder if i should join in on this, but I have a V6 3.8L, with only an exhaust as mod, (Cat back + cat converter)
everything else is pretty much stock, i don't know if a tune would help me at all...

thoughts?

Hi Razz,
I would send Arun a quick email and ask him the question directly. Although this is a great opertunity to save money by not having to drive 12 hours, at the same time you dont want to waste money for no reason.

I'll PM you his email address and you can tell him you are thinking about joining or group tune and would like ot know if it is worth it for you.

PS, So far it looks like there is 3 of us confirmed and I know Arun does not want to go much over that because he wants to make sure he has enough time with each car to do things right. (Tweaks to a tune or simple tunes may be okay since they dont take as long)
