I can't find dex3 anywhere for my t56. Anyone know a place where I can find some?

I found a place a few years back ànd cleaned out all their inventory.

Go to Canadian Tire. Im sure they have several different brands of Dex 3.

Why would you want to use Dex3?

Dex 6 is a full synthetic and the Dex 3 service replacement.

I had it in my 99 TA with a 3600 stall and that tranny had 120,000 miles when I did the switch probably over 700 dragstrip passes and 135,000 miles when I sold it.

The fluid was still clean and never smelled burnt.

i know some people like synthetic in the t56, but I want to play it safe with the paper blocker rings. The dex 3 has been fine, I just ran out.

Canadian tire has motormaster dex 3 but not much else. I know there isn't much to dex 3 but I still wouldn't use anything motormaster in my Trans Am

I'm in the same boat. Need to refresh my fluid this year. I think amazon.com maybe your best bet for Delco OE fluid. It will be listed under a manual transmission /transfer case oil. Hth
