Default My quest for the 10s is over.

This year anyway.

I never made it to that illustrious mark today. Unfortunatly track prep was not what it was 2 weeks ago. The air seemed good though. This week the best 60ft was a 1.540 vs my previos 1.482

Well on to my new PB.

I made 8 passes, 1 was aborted. four on my own and three with some suggestions and guidance by Mario (ARE)

The suggestions resulted in me getting the car to hook a little better in the marginal conditions and pull like mad at the big end.

All in all I did 4 passes with mph in exccess of 128.46 mph and a best of 129.22mph also my best pass of the day.

The car feels extremely strong.

BTW SteveL we now know what it takes to get the boot for no rollbar. I think I would have had a shot at a possible PB on the ET but these mph runs got noticed. At 2:29pm.

All in all it has been a great year. Car has performed great and is being put into storage intacked and ready for the spring.

Thanks again ARE for giving me a solid package.

Congrats, Rampant, on your new PBs. It's good that you going out on a strong note. Like, Andre, I think the 10 sec NA club is within your grasp.

Thanks Hoopper!

I think Andre's will be used as the next Space Shuttle replacement.

Awesome times Dale, I wish that I could had made it to the track to see you run but I had a ton of yard work to do while the weather was nice.

Thanks Man.

It was fun till they said no more runs. but it is for my own protection anyway.

I'll get my Wolfe Rolbar put in over the winter and I'm good to go again.

Plus a few little mods to make up for the extra weight.

Those are great trap speeds.

Are you going to install a rollbar?

Hi Steve,

I had a Wolfe roll bar here when we ran at Top Dawg. I was the same as you just was trying to avoid it. The car had yet at that point, gone better than 11.8. I could tell it had it in it to go faster though.

So yes, I will put the rollbar in over the winter along with a couple other things to enhance it a little more. Who knows I may get a 10 out of it yet. My driving still needs improvement. I think I have the launch sorted out, but it is the shifts that need to be a lot quicker.

Thanks Roy, I hope your right.

It seems like a year ago now. It is going to be a long winter.
